The current vicious attack on Chick-fil-A is against much more than one family and their business. It is a blatant assault on faith, Judeo-Christian morality and freedom itself. It appears that Home Depot, in response to AFA’s boycott, is silently dropping public support for the homosexual agenda. Here’s why.
In 2009 and 2010, Home Depot sponsored and marched in at least 16 separate gay pride events. After the boycott began, Home Depot’s participation dropped to just four events in 2011.
Home Depot has ordered its employees to stop wearing its highly recognized orange aprons to any homosexual-themed events.
Home Depot’s philanthropy arm, The Home Depot Foundation, now prohibits grants to “festivals” and denies requests for workshop kits and aprons. These had shown up at homosexual events on a regular basis.
The homosexual groups have remained silent about Home Depot’s moves, fearful that other companies may follow Home Depot’s lead. Since the boycott began, not a single homosexual group has publicly supported Home Depot.
However, it could be that the homosexual groups have agreed with Home Depot to simply remain silent, continuing to get money from Home Depot but agreeing not to publicly acknowledge Home Depot’s support.
Over 600,000 people have pledged to boycott Home Depot. Those pledges have been delivered to Home Depot Chairman Frank Blake and the board of directors.
But now is not the time to back off!
Now is the time to support the boycott even more.
Other companies are watching Home Depot to see if the boycott is successful. That is why we need to give it another boost!
TAKE ACTION
1. Pray for Home Depot Chairman Frank Blake to make wise decisions regarding his company’s direction.
2. If you have not done so, sign the Boycott Pledge at www.BoycottTheHomeDepot.com.
3. Call your local Home Depot store and ask to speak to the manager. You can find the number to your local store here (click “Store Finder” at top of page) or in your local phone book.
4. Print the paper petition and distribute it at Sunday school and church.

A few weeks ago, AFA alerted you to an attack by homosexual activists against the Christian-owned Chick-fil-A company.
In February, a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Pennsylvania donated some sandwiches and brownies to a marriage seminar hosted by the Pennsylvania Family Institute. Because the seminar promoted marriage as between one man and one woman, pro-homosexual activists launched an all-out attack on Chick-fil-A.
Some started calling the company’s main product “Jesus Chicken,” while others mocked and belittled the company’s “Not Open on Sunday” policy. They even smeared company employees, calling them “anti-gay.”
Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy built a 1500-restaurant chain on his “personal and business philosophy based on biblical principles.” Something else you may not know:

The Navy is the first military branch to authorize homosexual “marriage” and allow gay sailors to get married in Navy chapels. It is currently instructing Navy chaplains on its policy for performing the ceremonies.
The directive came from an April 13 memo issued to all chaplains, in which the Chief of Navy Chaplains, Admiral Michael Tidd, said the Chaplain Corps was revising its Tier I training manuals to include “a chaplain may officiate a same-sex, civil marriage” and “the chaplain is, according to applicable state and local laws, otherwise fully certified to officiate that state’s [gay] marriage.”
Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, told CNSNews.com, in its haste to “hustle-in homosexuality,” the Navy may be violating federal law – the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). Under DOMA, the federal government defines marriage as a legal union between “one man and one woman.”
“The administration and various states may be operating as if DOMA doesn’t exist, but the Navy and Marine Corps and all the Armed Services are sworn to obey the law, which this new instruction violates,” he added.

At a time when our nation is engaged in multiple wars and conflicts, military leaders should be focused on protecting our nation from its enemies, not engaging in political and social activism.
Email your senators and representative, asking them to stop unlawful homosexual advocacy and social engineering within our military.

NBC introduced its Sunday coverage of the US Open golf championship with a patriotically-themed piece, which included two recitations of the Pledge of Allegiance by American schoolchildren.
Astonishingly, NBC edited the words “under God” out of the Pledge not once but twice. Then an NBC commentator apologized on air later in the broadcast, admitting that NBC had edited the Pledge, but saying nothing, absolutely nothing, about which part of the Pledge NBC deliberately left on the cutting room floor.
NBC clumsily tried to conceal its insult to America’s religious heritage by inserting voice-overs after the words that preceded “under God,” in the vain hope that the American people would not notice. It didn’t work.

NBC has offered no justification for its intentional decision to leave God out of the Pledge. Call or email NBC today and demand an explanation.

The Department of Veterans Affairs and its Director of the Houston National Cemetery, Arleen Ocasio, are engaging in religious viewpoint discrimination in violation of the First Amendment and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, by adding new incidents of religious hostility.
Since taking the directorship of the Houston facility in April, 2010, Arleen Ocasio has used her position to bully Christians, repeatedly trampling on the religious liberties of Veterans of Foreign Wars District 4, The American Legion Post 586, and the National Memorial Ladies.
On March 15, Director Ocasio told Nobleton Jones, Honor Guard Junior Vice Commander, that he couldn’t say “May God grant you grace, mercy and peace” to grieving families.
“The hostile and discriminatory actions by the Veterans Affairs officials in Houston are outrageous, unconstitutional and must stop,” said Jeff Mateer, Esq., general counsel of Liberty Institute. “Government officials who engage in religious discrimination against citizens are breaking the law. Sadly, this seems to be a pattern of behavior at the Houston VA National Cemetery.”
Our friends at Liberty Institute have amended an earlier lawsuit against the VA that states the new violations against religious liberty include:

Old Navy is now selling “gay pride” T-shirts in support of President Obama’s proclamation designating June as “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month.”
Old Navy’s rainbow T-shirts are part of its “Love Proudly: Pride 2011″ campaign. The shirts reportedly went on sale June 1 and will be available at select stores throughout the country. Old Navy is donating 10 percent of the proceeds to the “It Gets Better Project,” a pro-LGBT campaign.
The T-shirt designs include a white shirt with “Love Proudly” written in the colors of the rainbow, and a black shirt with rainbow-colored stripes.
According to reports, the T-shirts are being sold at some Old Navy stores until the end of June or until supplies run out. Old Navy is already saying they may increase the number of stores next year.

The ABC network is currently working on a pilot for a prime-time program called “Good Christian B-tches.”
It’s a Christian-bashing version of ABC’s current “Desperate Housewives.” The show centers on a recently divorced mother of two who moves back to the affluent neighborhood where she grew up to find herself in the whirling midst of gossip, Botox and fraud.
Disney-owned ABC has no reservations about creating hate speech against Christians, but you can be sure they would never consider a show called “Good Muslim B-tches” or “Good Jewish B-tches.”
With a title like “Good Christian B-tches,” you can imagine what kind of show it will be. Even if they change the title, the content will still mock people of faith.
We tried. In fact, we tried more than a half-dozen times to reach out to Sears quietly and professionally. Sears’ public relations department has refused to return our calls and emails.
Sears is currently offering giant posters of total nud**y on its website. Sears knows they are selling smut. Technology allows Sears to remove and stop selling these posters within minutes, so why won’t they?
I hope you will take my word for it, but if you must see the proof, they can be found here. Warning: the posters are extremely graphic and offensive, although they have been edited by us.
These aren’t just posters of scantily-clad women. Some of them depict groups of people, lesbians and others engaged in ***ual activities. Very little is left to the imagination.
Home Depot Chairman Frank Blake kept his word when he told shareholders earlier this month that his company would continue to support gay marriage activists and activities.
Last weekend, Home Depot sponsored the Southern Maine Pride event in Portland. During the opening ceremony, emcee Khris Francis thanked the company and shouted “Gay men just l-o-v-e Home Depot” over the loud speaker system.
On June 11, over one dozen employees wearing Home Depot gear marched in the Boston Pride parade. A Home Depot van followed the employees marching in the parade.
Many of the employees wore Human Rights Campaign (HRC) buttons and stickers on their company clothes. HRC is the nation’s largest homosexual organization pushing for gay marriage. One Home Depot parade marcher was carrying a gay pride (rainbow) flag. Watch a short video of it here.
